This will hopefully depict the progress so far on the road to a total restoration of our PA.

Here you can see John using the Plasma cutter to remove the old bulkhead panel. The Plasma cutter is a must for jobs like this really, it made a difficult that much easier.
John removing the bottom section of the panel, really into it now, no going back thats for sure.
Ready now to remove the top section.
Top section being lifted away.
Here we are with all the bulhead removed, a neat job if ever there was one. Very pleased with progress so far.
Here John has the new panel in although it took some fiddling around to get it to fit. Was easy removing because panel was cut in two but a whole panel when re-fitting. Got there in the end.
Drivers side end view of bulkhead panel.
Under the dash with the water catch all welded in place, a neat job.
View from inside the car, again you can see the quality of work being done. I am begining to wonder if i have saved up enough cash! (Only joking John)
As you can see there is plenty more work to do, the outer sill have been replaced at sometime. John will make panels up to repair this rot.
Wing mounting rails welded in place, John made the panels.
Here i have stripped and cleaned the distributer, will look nice when fitted and will hopefully work ok!!

Well that is as far as we have got and it is 30th August 2004, as you can see its an extensive job and will take time to complete. This is the first time i have tackled such a project but so far i am enjoying the experience. That said i thought it the best option to farm out the bodywork, i have had a go before and i am not confident enough to tackle that side of it. As for the rest of it i am ok with. The engine is just being cleaned down and painted as she ran very smoothly and used no oil, the mileage from new is 54000 so it should be ok. If anyone can advise me on the colour of the engine block when it was new? The previous owner seems to remember it being grey? Any comments would be appreciated. PLEASE MAIL ME
