GALLERY 1
This will hopefully depict the progress so far on the road to a total restoration of our PA.

| This is the car as i bought her, a one owner from new mid series PA. Came with 1 years M.O.T. so i did get chance to take her to a local show and generally get to know how she ran. . | |
| She really drove nice feeling well balanced etc. The gear change was a little sloppy so i will have to attend to that. | |
| I started work on stripping the car down as far as i could, this was January 2004. As per usual there were plenty of rusted bolts, screws etc but i took my time and used plenty of WD40 and managed to get most things off without damage. | |
| Off with the bonnet and wings, i have made good use of my digital camera and have taken hundreds of pictures to hopefully remind me of where things go. | |
| Engine out, was easier than i thought with just 3 engine mountings. Thanks to Kevin for his assistance, we did have to put an extension piece in the hoist for the engine to clear the front panel. | |
| All fastened to the engine stand. | |
| Reference picture of master cylinders before i removed them. | |
| This was the day the car was moved to the body shop. I had stripped her down as far as i could with only the axles and steering gear left in situ. Thankfully the rain held for us and managed to take her 20 miles in the dry. | |
| I can certainly recommend hiring the right equipment, this trailer made light work of the move. | |
| Steering column was removed at the body shop (you will see why later) I tidied it up and applied paint to the cover plate and steering box. | |
| You can see in this picture how the bulkhead has rotted. The water catch beneath the dashboard was pretty bad too, its a wonder the heater didn't drop off. See GALLERY 2 for the next installment of the restoration. |
